It’s May 2020 and flowers are beginning to bloom. What have you planted that will delight the senses and enhance the quality of your life?

We are still dealing with powerful forces outside of our control, and as it was last month, much of our perceived personal power has been significantly reduced. Our goals for our lives have become very simple and the rules and means for achieving those goals are also most basic. What we have any real power or control over is HOW we operate as individuals and as a society during these intensely transformational times.

We would all do well to remember two things: 1- these limiting circumstances won’t last forever, 2- they’ll be over when they’re over. Trying to “push the river”, i.e., denying and ignoring what needs to be done and insisting that the Universe bends to our will, won’t work.

We can continue to monitor the circumstances and use our personal power to focus our energy on what IS working and do what we can to perpetuate that truth. Giving in to our baser instincts of panic and fear won’t change the truth and will only allow negative people and feelings to influence and control us.

This is a “lemons to lemonade” moment– seize it! You can choose to be a sheep and be led astray by those who don’t have your best interest at heart or you can choose to be what you were created to be– a warrior who thinks, acts, cares for, and promotes what’s most beneficial for yourself, life, and your community.

THE EMPEROR (March 21 – April 20) In many ways, you’re being called upon to look back and put things in perspective; you’re also being called upon to take that knowledge and positively project it so that it informs your future. EMPRESS (April 21 – May 20) In order to “find” oneself, you first have to admit you’re lost.
