It’s December and the election is over and thankfully, we can work toward repairing what’s been damaged as we create a better world.
In only a few short weeks, we’ll all witness and participate in the end of this year and the beginning of a new year– 2021. This year didn’t work out the way we’d imagined, hoped, or planned. To say the least! This extraordinary year did help us in a powerful way, though. It removed all that distracted us and gave us the opportunity to look deeply into ourselves and honest deal with our positives and our negatives. How did that go for you? Did you take the opportunity? Did you grow and progress in ways beyond your wildest imagination? Or did you try to ignore or postpone the inevitable?
We must all remember that each of us is capable of doing potentially mysterious, empowering deeds and of displaying courage, integrity and heart so vital and vibrant to the continuation of all that we hold dear.
Take a look back at yourself and your 2020 journey. How will you take what you’ve experienced and learned and use it to help make the coming year, 2021, the best year ever for yourself, your community, and your world?
Your message this month is in the form of a quote or affirmation. It’s a key that will help you translate your experience of this year to reflect on your perspective of yourself, your goals, your commitment, and your willingness to ‘show up’ and actively choose and stand for what you believe in.
For all of us:
“I love you, my sister and brother, whoever you are– whether you worship in your church, kneel in your temple or pray in your mosque. You and I are all children of one faith, for the diverse paths of religion are fingers of the loving hand of one Supreme Being, a hand extended to all, offering completeness of spirit to all, eager to receive all.” Khalil Gibran
And for now and forever:
You Are Not for Everyone
The world is filled with people who, no matter what you do, will point-blank not like you. But it is also filled with those who will love you fiercely. Talk to the people who can hear you. They are your people.
You are not for everyone and that’s OK. Don’t waste your precious time and gifts trying to convince them of your value, they won’t ever want what you’re selling.
Don’t convince them to walk alongside you. You’ll be wasting both your time and theirs and will likely inflict unnecessary wounds, which will take precious time to heal.
You are not for them and they are not for you; politely wave them on and continue along your way.
Sharing your path with someone is a sacred gift; don’t cheapen it by rolling yours in the wrong direction. Keep facing your true north.

THE SUN (July 21 – August 22) “This is the purpose in life, to get what you want. There are deeper things, but this is fun.” Karl Lagerfeld, and “You are not limited by logic, the past, or the world around you. You are not of the world around you. You are supernatural, pure spirit.” Unknown
THE HERMIT (August 23 – September 22) “Don’t ask if your dreams are crazy, ask if they’re crazy enough!” Colin Kaepernick, and “You have to take risks. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen.” Paulo Coelho

THE STAR (January 20 – February 19) “People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. THE MOON (February 20 – March 20) “I truly believe we can either see the connections, celebrate them and express gratitude for our blessings, or we can see life as a string of coincidences that have no meaning or connection. For me, I’m going to believe in miracles, celebrate life, rejoice in the views of eternity, and hope my choices will create a positive ripple effect in the lives of others. This is my choice.” Mike Ericksen
