It’s harvest time, again. What gifts and skills have you nurtured and “grown” so far this year? Aided by two powerful eclipses, and Mercury and Mars retrograde, last month’s energy gave us the mandate to consciously experience a transformational shift that’s enabling us to see what we’re really committed to.
Throughout the rest of this year, allow yourself to discover and embrace the wisdom gained from these past months of 2018. This wisdom is timeless and belongs to no gender, class, race, or religion. Its gift of priceless truth comes from the experience of living honestly. As you allow yourself to discover and embrace this new aspect of yourself, you’ll discover and embrace a deeper, richer side of yourself that will teach you to appreciate your value, courage, and heart.
Let your magic shine as it expresses itself through you. It’s your right and responsibility to let the powerful significance of your journey delight, define, and inspire you. Envision without fear, ask for what you want, listen carefully to God, take the actions necessary to make it happen, and experience the results with love, joy, and gratitude.
By so doing, you can look forward with fascination to the adventures, opportunities, and changes– expected and unexpected– of our exciting and oh, so interesting times with a sense of calmness and inner support.
Your message as you move through this harvest period comes in the form of a quote or affirmation. Write or print it out, put it on your bathroom mirror, the refrigerator, and the dashboard of your car. Be conscious of and contemplate its message and meaning to you at this extraordinarily pivotal time.
FOR ALL OF US:
“Prejudice is an emotional commitment to ignorance.” Nathan Rutstein
and
“What we allow will continue. What continues will escalate.” Katherine Fugate
and
Now, more than ever, this quote must speak to us and for us:
“Become a possibilitarian. No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities– always see them, for they’re always there.” Norman Vincent Peale
“I love you, my sister and brother, whoever you are– whether you worship in your church, kneel in your temple or pray in your mosque. You and I are all children of one faith, for the diverse paths of religion are fingers of the loving hand of one Supreme Being, a hand extended to all, offering completeness of spirit to all, eager to receive all.” Khalil Gibran
THE EMPEROR (March 21 – April 20) “You cannot learn and be perfect at the same time. You cannot be perfect and learn at the same time.” Marvin Marshall
THE EMPRESS (April 21 – May 20) “Every beauty and greatness in this world is created by a single thought or emotion. Everything we see today, made by past generations, was, before its appearance a thought or impulse in the mind and heart of a man or a woman. The supreme teachings that changed the course of humanity were the ideas of a person whose genius separated him from his environment.” Kahlil Gibran
THE LOVERS (May 21 – June 20) “If I were to let my life be taken over by what is urgent, I might never get around to what is essential.” Henri Nouwen
THE CHARIOT (June 21 – July 20) “Hope has two beautiful daughters– their names are Anger and Courage. Anger at the way things are and Courage to see that they do not remain as they are.” Augustine
THE SUN (July 21 – August 22) “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure.” Helen Keller
THE HERMIT (August 23 – September 22) “Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.” Eleanor Roosevelt
JUSTICE (September 23 – October 22) “All things in this creation exist within you, and all things in you exist within creation; there is no border between you and the closest things, and there is no distance between you and the farthest things, and all things from the lowest to the loftiest, are within you as equal things– in one aspect of you are found all the aspects of existence.” Kahlil Gibran
THE MAGICIAN (October 23 – November 21) “It is not so much what you believe in that matters, as the way in which you believe it and proceed to translate that belief into action.” Lin Yutang
THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE (November 22 – December 21) “A little knowledge that acts is worth infinitely more than much knowledge that is idle. Believing is a fine thing, but placing those beliefs into action is a test of strength and courage.” Kahlil Gibran
THE WORLD (December 22 – January 19) “My soul preached to me and said, ‘Do not be delighted because of praise, and do not be distressed because of blame. The trees blossom in Spring and bear fruit in Summer without seeking praise; and they drop their leaves in Autumn and become naked in Winter without fearing blame.’” Kahlil Gibran
THE STAR (January 20 – February 19) “We struggle to find life outside ourselves, unaware that the life we are seeking is within. The true light is that which emanates from within and reveals the secrets of the heart to the soul, making it happy and contented with life.” Unknown
THE MOON (February 20 – March 20) “Love is the only freedom in the world because it so elevates the spirit that the laws of humanity and the phenomena of nature do not alter its course.” Kahlil Gibran
