It’s the beginning of harvest season. What will you reap? How will you use your bounty? Be honest, thoughtful, and compassionate with yourself as you reflect on the past eight months. The choices you’ll make about your future are based on the inventory you take now.
Mercury, the great communicator, will go retrograde on September 27th. Plans and communications are likely to ‘go south’ weeks before its official start. Emotions can run high, so please focus on being peaceful and calm. Do practice some form of meditation and relaxation on a daily basis. Since Mercury rules communication, transportation, and contracts, when it’s retrograde, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. During the retrograde period, if you can, hold off on buying (or leasing) any big ticket items. It’s also a good idea to triple check any and all plans you make. The retrograde period is an excellent time for introspection and research, as those things that are usually hidden from view, show themselves more easily during a Mercury Retrograde period. Wait until Mercury goes direct on October 18th before making any big decisions.
Your message this month comes in the form of a quote or affirmation.
For all of us:
“I love you, my sister and brother, whoever you are– whether you worship in your church, kneel in your temple or pray in your mosque. You and I are all children of one faith, for the diverse paths of religion are fingers of the loving hand of one Supreme Being, a hand extended to all, offering completeness of spirit to all, eager to receive all.”
and for now and forever:
You Are Not for Everyone —
The world is filled with people who, no matter what you do, will point-blank not like you. But it is also filled with those who will love you fiercely. Talk to the people who can hear you. They are your people. You are not for everyone and that’s OK. Don’t waste your precious time and gifts trying to convince them of your value, they won’t ever want what you’re selling. Don’t convince them to walk alongside you. You’ll be wasting both your time and theirs and will likely inflict unnecessary wounds, which will take precious time to heal. You are not for them and they are not for you; politely wave them on and continue along your way. Sharing your path with someone is a sacred gift; don’t cheapen it by rolling yours in the wrong direction. Keep facing your true north.
