September 2023 Tarotscope

It’s September, the beginning of the harvest. Here, we begin to see the “crop” we’ve been growing all year. What are the results that we dedicated our time, energy, hearts, and actions to in 2023? Your message this month is in the form of a quote. Filter this year’s experiences through the lens of your quote. Whatever needs acknowledgement and praise– do it through the lens of your quote. Whatever needs acknowledgement and constructive criticism– do it through the lens of your quote.

We’re also going through another ritual “re” phase of Mercury Retrograde until September 15th. Mercury is the planet of communication, so please check and re-check, and then check again all plans, appointments, and reservations. Please remember that during Mercury Retrogrades, it’s a great time for introspection and personal “re” work– reflection, retreat, review, reinvention. Since Mercury rules communication, transportation, and contracts, when it’s retrograde, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. If you can, please hold off on buying (or leasing) any big-ticket items and wait until Mercury goes direct before making any big decisions. Please practice patience with compassion, remember to focus on the big picture, go easy on yourself and others, and accept that there will be delays, so please factor in extra time in your schedule, and above all, please don’t take anything personally.

“In a world where you can be anything, be kind.” Ann Angel

FOR ALL OF US:

“I love you, my sister and brother, whoever you are– whether you worship in your church, kneel in your temple or pray in your mosque. You and I are all children of one faith, for the diverse paths of religion are fingers of the loving hand of one Supreme Being, a hand extended to all, offering completeness of spirit to all, eager to receive all.” Khalil Gibran

THE EMPEROR (March 21 – April 20) “Learning to be aware of feelings, how they arise and how to use them creatively so they guide us to happiness, is an essential lifetime skill.” Joan Borysenko

THE CHARIOT (June 21 – July 20) “People often become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn’t have it in the beginning.” Mahatma Gandhi

THE SUN (July 21 – August 22) “The great composer does not set to work because he is inspired, but becomes inspired because he is working. Beethoven, Wagner, Bach and Mozart settled down day after day to the job in hand. They didn’t waste time waiting for inspiration.” Ernest Newman

THE HERMIT (August 23 – September 22) “Any task can be accomplished if it’s broken down into manageable parts.” Universal Truth

JUSTICE (September 23 – October 22) “Embrace fully your capacity to create, to think in unlimited ways, and to pursue everything that you have been wanting. Be flexible, open and willing to let the new come to you. This can be the most joyous, prosperous, and creative time of your life.” Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer

THE MAGICIAN (October 23 – November 21) “We must listen to the child that we once were, and who still lives within us. This child understands about magic instants. We can muffle his sobbing, but we can’t hush his voice.” Paulo Coelho

THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE (November 22 – December 21) “This is the purpose of life– to get what you want. There are deeper things, but this is fun.” Karl Lagerfeld

THE WORLD (December 22 – January 19) “There is only one real sin and that is to persuade oneself that the second best is anything but second best.” Doris Lessing

THE STAR (January 20 – February 19) “Never apologize for showing feelings. When you do so, you apologize for truth.” Benjamin Disraeli

THE MOON (February 20 – March 20) “We are not creatures of circumstance; we are creators of circumstance– carpe diem!” Benjamin Disraeli
