It’s March and if you’re anything like me, you’re hoping the old saying, “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb,” will be true this year.
Although the focus for this Spring season will be the same as every Spring season – renewal and rebirth – we’ll be required to bring forth a new way of being by boldly taking an honest assessment of ourselves and stripping away what is no longer viable to us and our aspirations for the future.
So, as we prepare to welcome the Lamb of Spring weather into our lives, we must ask ourselves what and who we want and need in our lives as well as what and who we don’t need. Since this is a ‘7’ Universal year-the year of finding and following our own truth-this is not only a request from the Universe, it’s a requirement. Let us be inspired by Paulo Coelho’s advice: “Close some doors. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because they no longer lead somewhere.”
Although the task of closing those now useless doors may seem daunting, we’re not alone in performing it; the Universe is committed to helping us by creating situations that bring us face-to-face with our strength and power. All we have to do is acknowledge and accept it. As we do so, help and other wonderful surprises will come from the most unexpected people and places.

February brings a lot to the table-Chinese New Year, Groundhog Day, Valentine’s day and, of course, President’s Day. It also seems to be the month with the most dramatic and traumatic weather of the winter season. For us in most of the Northern hemisphere-baby it’s cold outside!
Though the year has just begun, ?does it seem like you’re already trying to catch up? That’s a sure sign that you’re putting too much on your plate-again. This year resonates to the spiritual path number, ‘7,’ and to the Year of the Horse in Chinese Astrology.
Sheilaa Hite is featured in “7 minutes with…”, a series of videos in which Wald and Ruth Ann Amberstone of the celebrated Readers Studio ask questions of people in the tarot community, and create 7-minute, content-rich video for you to enjoy.
This is the time of the year to give thanks for all that brings us Joy in our lives. It is also a time for giving and receiving gifts of all kinds, be they material, spiritual or emotional. I thank you for being in my life, and for giving me the gift of your trust and your confidence in my abilities. My gift to you comes in the form of wishing you contentment, peace of mind, and the ability to live the life of your dreams. As the old year comes to an end, and the new year is on the horizon, make a list of seven things that you want to happen for you in 2014, and focus on those seven items during the coming months.
