December 2025 Tarotscope

It’s the last few weeks of 2025, a “9” numerological year. It’s also the last few weeks of this particular nine-year cycle. “9” years are known for their attention to the details of completion– whatever work was begun in the previous eight years must be brought to completion or transformation in this last year of the cycle. Although this mandate applies to mundane things, it specifically applies to matters of personal growth, spiritual evolution, and emotional maturity.

In order to move successfully through this completion/transformation year, you must ask yourself some tough questions, AND you must answer them honestly. Questions like, “Am I really giving myself full permission to live the way I was created to live?” “What does living authentically mean to me?” “What negative habits, be they pleasurable or painful, am I holding on to?” and “Will I tap into and use the innate courage that lives in my heart to answer those questions honestly and do what is required to free myself from negativity’s grasp?

If you honestly, courageously, consciously answer these questions, you’ll be ready to step into the new cycle that 2026 ushers in. 2026 is a “1” numerological year and the beginning of a new energy cycle. During a “1” year, you can not only plan your new nine-year journey, you can powerfully activate those plans so that they lead you to the success you were created to have.

One of your guidebooks for this next cycle is “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. If you haven’t read it, it’s time to read it. If you have read it, it’s time to re-read it. Not just once– I recommend you read it over and over again. You’ll begin to recognize that the author is speaking to you and helping you on your journey.

Another “guide” as you leave 2025 and prepare to enter 2026 is your personal quote or mantra. I’ve grouped your sign/Tarot card with the signs/Tarot cards of the same element.

The twelve archetypes are grouped into four sets of illuminating, empowering expressions of energy, Earth– Manifestation, Air– Communication, Water– Spirituality, and Fire– Inspiration. The archetypes grouped with you are “living mirrors” of your innate energy and positive qualities.

FOR ALL OF US:

“I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.”  Edward Everett Hale

“I love you, my sister and brother, whoever you are– whether you worship in your church, kneel in your temple, or pray in your mosque. You and I are all children of one faith, for the diverse paths of religion are fingers of the loving hand of one Supreme Being, a hand extended to all, offering completeness of spirit to all, eager to receive all.” Khalil Gibran

THE EMPEROR (March 21 – April 20)

THE SUN (July 21 – August 22)

WHEEL OF FORTUNE (November 22 – December 21)

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back– concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.”

“Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.” Goethe and William Hutchinson Murray

THE EMPRESS (April 21 – May 20)

THE HERMIT (August 23 – September 22)

THE WORLD (December 22 – January 19

“To risk is to risk appearing the fool. To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self. To place your ideas, your dreams, before the crowd is to risk loss. To love is to risk not being loved in return. To live is to risk dying. To try at all is to risk failure. But to risk we must. Because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The man, the woman who risks nothing– does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.”  Emerson

“When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and you take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe one of two things will happen– there will be something solid for you to stand on or you will be taught how to fly. Remember, Faith is strengthened a step at a time.”  Anonymous
