This month is the end and the beginning of the celestial cycle. After what seemed like forever, the planet of communication and roadways, Mercury, reversed its retrograde movement and went direct a few days ago. Since Mercury rules communication, transportation and contracts, it’s now okay to buy (or lease) big ticket items and sign contracts (after consulting with an attorney, of course). This is an excellent time to put the ideas you came up with during the retrograde into action. Being that it’s also September, it’s a great time to sort through and clear out the personal, internal mental and emotional clutter that came up for you this year as well as during the retrograde. The energy of the Universe, and therefore the planet, is moving at a higher vibration as we approach the year’s end and your old ways of processing and being no longer work. Where we are now is an idea whose time has come. It’s best to meet it with joy, courage, and willingness.

It’s unmistakably Summer! August offers us a chance to relax and enjoy the season with a child-like abandon. Whatever you do, enrich your life by consciously participating in all manner of worthwhile fun activities.

It’s also a good idea to keep in mind that Mercury, the planet of communication, is retrograde until August 28^th. During this time, expect the unexpected. Mercury retrogrades are great for introspection and personal “re” work– reflection, retreat, review, reinvention. Although it’s not a good time to start new projects, it is a good time to do the research that will help make your project a success. If you can, please hold off on buying (or leasing) any big-ticket items and wait until Mercury goes direct on August 28th before making any big decisions. After a gnarly Mercury retrograde last month, Spring has finally arrived. This is one of the most powerful times of the year and whatever you wish to happen and put the correct type and amount of energy into will manifest. It’s December and in a few weeks, this year will come to a close. Did 2023 work out the way you’d hoped or planned? Did this year fulfill all your dreams and expectations? Did you make good use of your experiences? Did you allow yourself to grow and benefit from the gifts the year brought you?

As you close the door on one chapter of your life and open the door to unexplored territory and new experiences, take a look back at yourself and your 2023 journey. How will you take what you’ve experienced and learned and use it to help make the coming year, 2024, your most meaningful year ever?

This year ends with a Mercury retrograde experience. Beginning on December 13^th and ending on January 1^st of 2024, the retrograde Mercury will give us a chance to review our year (and our lives!). Mercury is the planet of communication, so please check and re-check, and then check again all plans, appointments, and reservations. Please remember that during Mercury Retrogrades, it’s a great time for introspection and personal “re” work– reflection, retreat, review, reinvention. Since Mercury rules communication, transportation, and contracts, when it’s retrograde, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. If you can, please hold off on buying (or leasing) any big-ticket items and wait until Mercury goes direct before making any big decisions. Please practice patience with compassion, remember to focus on the big picture, go easy on yourself and others, and accept that there will be delays, so please factor in extra time in your schedule, and above all, please don’t take anything personally.
