February is the second month of the year. It carries “2” energy, which is “co” energy, as in communicate, commitment, community, courage. The energetic shift we’ve been waiting for has arrived and now we must do all we can to support it and the freedom from tyranny it promises.

Though this isn’t the most comfortable of times, it can be the most powerful and liberating of times. We’re all being called on to shake off the illusion of helplessness and take the action that the great John Lewis called for– “Do the necessary thing and make good trouble.”

It’s the last few weeks of 2025, a “9” numerological year. Sunday, November 9th, Mercury went retrograde. It’ll stay retrograde until November 29^th.

When Mercury is retrograde, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. Please back up your data. If you can, hold off on buying (or leasing) any big-ticket items. It’s also a good idea to triple check any and all plans you make. The retrograde– going back or within– is an excellent time for introspection, reflection, reviewing, relaxing, researching, going on retreats, and planning your next moves because the things that we’re not aware of or are usually hidden from view, tend to show themselves more easily during a Mercury Retrograde period. Wait until Mercury goes direct on November 29th before making any big purchases or big decisions.

Just because it’s different doesn’t mean that it’s bad– different perspectives will point you to new opportunities. Many new people will come along to assist you on your path. Most won’t stay long, but all will leave you with an invaluable gift of insight.

THE SUN (July 21 – August 22) The most powerful you can do now is believe in yourself. Sometimes, it takes courage to admit to yourself and others that you want your dreams to come true. Put physical, mental, and emotional effort into bringing your dreams to fruition and you will witness miracles– all of them leading to very satisfying results.

THE HERMIT (August 23 – September 22) Your innate intuition and inner courage will see you through the most exhilarating and the most trying times. The Universe is preparing to move you to a new phase of your life. By listening to your strong intuition and courageously following its instructions, you’ll find that you’re always in the right place at the right time– and that right place and right time are where the magic happens.

JUSTICE (September 23 – October 22) Be open to new ideas and new people. As a magnet for the unique and different, you’ll notice that these new perspectives are pointing you to new opportunities. Others will step forward and offer help– be discerning in accepting it. As always, trust your intuition.

THE MAGICIAN (October 23 – November 21) Please give yourself permission to just ‘be’ as you find that place of inner calm that lives within you. That’s the power you have now and that’s the opportunity that’s available to you– just ‘being.’ Consciously experience that your desire to have what you want is enough and please allow the Universe to provide it for you.

THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE (November 22 – December 21) Your Achillies Heel right now is your quest for perfection. It’s a futile quest because your understanding of perfection is far too limiting for such an infinite concept. In other words, it’s time for you to see the beauty in life just as it presents itself to you. There’s no need to adjust or embellish, just observe and appreciate. Doing so will expand your view and understanding of all of the bounty that is available to you.      

THE WORLD (December 22 – January 19) Although the idea of partnership may be enticing, if it doesn’t support you in being in partnership with yourself first, it isn’t beneficial for you. Please get used to choosing for yourself first. The choices you make now are the seeds you’ll be planting for your next set of actions and experiences as this year winds down. Your power and grace lie in your ability to be empathetic and self-compassionate.

THE STAR (January 20 – February 19) ‘Flexibility’ ‘Passion’ ‘Truth’. These three words are your new set of goals and instructions, especially since Pluto, the planet of transformation and healing has moved into your sign. Allow your heart to lead you as you move through the world in a new, more focused manner. Enjoy the new experiences and people that come into your life, whether for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

THE MOON (February 20 – March 20) The adventure that will be presenting itself to you soon is life-changing. How you go about participating in the change is up to you. If you volunteer, things will go smoothly; if you resist, things will still go, only not as gently as they could. Please be open to what you learn on this adventure and immerse yourself in the experience and surrender to the process. You’ll develop a deeper, more rewarding appreciation of yourself, your journey, and your life.

THE EMPRESS (April 21 – May 20) The most important question for you in your quest for your own personal truth is: “Am I being true to myself or am I just going along to get along?” The answer lies within you and no one can tell you which way to go. Hint– follow your heart and free yourself of labels.

THE LOVERS (May 21 – June 20) Things are on the upswing for you as you enter a new cycle. By working with your natural skills and patient persistence, you can overcome any obstacles. As things settle down, remember that successful creativity, beauty, and profit are meant to be your end result.

THE CHARIOT (June 21 – July 20) You have a powerful intuitive sense and combining the strength of your intuition with the might of your intellect will provide you with all of the answers you’re looking for. Trust your gut and pool your information gathering assets for a winning result.

Other people’s opinions and belief systems will only interfere with the important growth phase you’re in now. Stay away from the temptation of seeking approval from outside sources as you navigate the still, deep waters of your emotional foundation.

This great quote reminds you to keep the faith that your hopes and wishes are in the process of manifesting in your life. Please continue to put one foot in front of the other as you work toward giving birth to your wishes.

THE WORLD (December 22 – January 19) All greatness begins with a dream and a desire to make that dream come true. Now is the time to make and enact practical plans, commit to them, and take the positive action required to bring your dream to fruition. Remember to express your gratitude and have fun as you create and live your dreams.

THE STAR (January 20 – February 19) Turning lemons into lemonade is much easier than you think– all it takes is a change in perspective. The challenge and gift for you this month will come in the form of a series of challenges. If you approach them as opportunities to build your faith, trust, and right action muscles, you’ll find yourself focusing on and creating the way for the solution and not the problem.

THE MOON (February 20 – March 20) You’re experiencing an “interesting” spring. The winds of change are no longer stagnant. By the end of the month, they’ll have blown away the old energy that previously blocked your progress. You can then move forward with your hopes, wishes, and plans. Support will come from the most unexpected sources.

 

Venus, the planet of values, women, relationships, art, music, balance, healing, beauty, diplomacy and money will be retrograde until April 12^th. And Mercury, the planet of communication, transportation, plans and contracts, will be retrograde until April 7^th. When Venus is retrograde, take an in-depth look at your relationships, including the one you have with yourself. And follow the advice of Mercury retrograde. When Mercury is retrograde, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. If you can, hold off on buying (or leasing) any big ticket items. It’s also a good idea to triple check any and all plans you make. This is an excellent time for introspection, research and going on retreats, as those things that are usually hidden from view, show themselves more easily during a Mercury Retrograde period. Wait until Mercury goes direct before making any big decisions.

Remember– when any planet is retrograde, whatever qualities it rules are up for review. Some of what (or who) comes up for us or back to us is timely and needs to be honored by our attention; the rest of those old memories, stories and relationships are negative, harmful and/or no longer true for us and, therefore, need to be released and tossed out!

Of all of our choices, you’ll benefit most if you devote your time and energy to taking inventory and clearing out the useless clutter of out-of-date relationships, negative and/or limiting beliefs, and old emotional wounds. How do you determine what to keep and what to let go of?  HINT– If it makes you feel worthwhile and joyful– keep it; if it doesn’t toss it out.

THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE (November 22 – December 21) You’re use to doing all of the work, but now it’s time for you to stand back and take a look at the big picture. Even though things aren’t making the kind of sense you expect them to make, they are making the kind of sense they’re supposed to make. Take some time off and let things unfold naturally.

THE WORLD (December 22 – January 19) Be inspired by your dreams and nurture them as you take the positive steps that will manifest them. Be especially careful to avoid people who tell you to stop dreaming and be more practical. When you don’t take “No” for an answer when everyone else is screaming, “That’s impossible!” all manner of unforeseen help will appear and assist you in your endeavors.
