We are living in interesting times. Too often I hear or read that society is deteriorating, that our structure is crumbling. In many ways that’s what is happening. However, that isn’t all that’s happening– in even greater ways, we are more alive, more powerful and more able to create our lives and our world any way we want it. It all depends on your outlook and your expectations. If you expect the worst, you’ll not be disappointed. If you expect the best and prepare for it, you won’t be disappointed either. Both types of expectation require the same amount of energy. Your life and world are a reflection of what you believe and put your energy into. One of Richard Bach’s quotes keeps coming to mind lately– “You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. You may have to work for it, however.” I find that that last sentence of the quote is the key to all successful undertakings.
