March has come in like a lion; let’s hope it remembers to leave like a lamb. During this end of Winter, beginning of Spring month, please remember to say a prayer of gratitude for the gifts bestowed on us in the past and the gifts that the future will bring. We’re living in ‘wild and wooly’ times and as Michael Conrad used to say, “Be careful out there.”

THE EMPEROR (March 21 – April 20) “Man plans and God laughs.” But still you must plan because God also listens– to our hopes, wishes and prayers. Keep taking risks– life only has meaning because and when we do. You’re very much guided by Divine energy. Do make the most of it.

It’s time to slow down and let the meaning of your journey catch up with you. You’ve changed a lot in the last couple of years and you’ll benefit from taking stock of the new you. Until you do, you won’t fully discover the importance and meaning of what you’ve experienced, what you’ve learned from it and where it’s leading you.

THE LOVERS (May 21 – June 20) Deliberate action is called for now. Don’t waste time by scattering your energy all over the place. It’s December– and it’s been quite a year hasn’t it? In only a few short weeks, we’ll all witness and participate in the end of this year and the beginning of a new year filled with great possibilities.

Wow– I feel like celebrating! No personal planets are retrograding and the Moon isn’t wobbling. We are able to move about our lives and the closing of the calendar year with a relative degree of ease. Now, if we can just get the weather to co-operate…

 As harvest season rapidly approaches, it’s time to evaluate the ‘crop’ we produced this year. Will your experiences, lessons, joys and gifts be enough to sustain you over the coming Winter months? Self-honesty and wisdom are the keys to determining where you stand and what you need right now. Remember to be good to yourself and appreciate the gift that Divine Energy made you.

Venus, the planet of values, women, relationships, art, music, balance, healing, beauty, diplomacy and money will be retrograde until September 6^th. And– on September 17^th, Mercury, the planet of communication, transportation, plans and contracts, goes retrograde! When Mercury is retrograde, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. If you can, hold off on buying (or leasing) any big ticket items. It’s also a good idea to triple check any and all plans you make. This is an excellent time for introspection, research and going on retreats, as those things that are usually hidden from view, show themselves more easily during a Mercury Retrograde period. Wait until Mercury goes direct before making any big decisions.

Remember– when any planet is retrograde, whatever qualities it rules are up for review. Some of what (or who) comes up for us or back to us is timely and needs to be honored by our attention; the rest of those old memories, stories and relationships are negative, harmful and/or no longer true for us and, therefore, need to be released and tossed out!

This month is over flowing with dynamic energy! Unmistakably Summer, the theme song for July is Martha and the Vandellas “Dancing in the Streets.” July offers us a chance to kick back and enjoy the season with a child-like abandon. Whatever you do, enrich your life by consciously participating in all manner of worthwhile fun activities (napping in a hammock is a worthwhile fun activity). There are two Full Moons this month, July 1^st and July 31^st. This kind of climactic lunar activity at the beginning and end of the month assure us of a passionate, colorful 31 days. Make the most of it because on July 25^th, Venus, the planet that rules relationships, women, values, balance, healing, beauty, diplomacy and money will go retrograde until September 6^th. As with any retrograde, there are precautions. This is not a time to buy anything that has to do with decorating– from make-up, jewelry and purses to house paint, furniture and art work. Try and avoid major medical procedures as Venus rules bloodwork and healing. And always read the fine print at least three times before committing to anything or anyone. It is a great time, though, to retreat, rethink and research because during retrograde periods, previously hidden information becomes more accessible.

THE EMPEROR (March 21 – April 20) The title of one of singer, Bobby Bland’s songs, “Who’s Foolin’ Who?” sums up a deeper level of your quest for self-value. Have you been fooling yourself by diminishing the value of your contribution to your world and yourself? Let’s do what we did as kids– have a bright, positive outlook on all the fun we can have, believe that anything is possible and remember to play, play, play!

Mercury, the great communicator, is still retrograde until June 11^th. This retrograde is a particularly gnarly one. Plans and communications started ‘going south’ before its official start. High emotions and weird misconceptions are trying to hijack many of our communications, so please focus on being peaceful and calm. Do practice some form of meditation and relaxation on a daily basis. Since Mercury rules communication, transportation and contracts, when it’s retrograde, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. If you can, hold off on buying (or leasing) any big ticket items and avoid invasive medical procedures. It’s also a good idea to triple check any and all plans you make.  This is an excellent time for introspection and research, though, as those things that are usually hidden from view, show themselves more easily during a Mercury Retrograde period.  Wait until Mercury goes direct before making any big decisions.

Your message comes in the form of a quote (or two). Write it down, print it out and post it on the inside of your entrance doors, your bathroom mirror, your refrigerator door and the dashboard of your car. These are all places you unconsciously focus on and whatever is posted in these spots, can powerfully inform us.
