It’s April. It’s finally Spring. Mars is hurtling out-of-bounds through space and Mercury is retrograde until April 15^th.

OK– what do we do with all of that? We take this energetically rich time to commit to our soul’s intention for us and sort through the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual backlog of “stuff” we’ve been holding on to “just in case we need it later.” (We rarely need any of that “stuff” later.) Let’s use this season to Spring clean our spaces, signaling the Universe that we’re open to receiving an increasing amount of profitable, joyful, useful newness in our lives.

Spring is seed planting time. The seeds of activity and inactivity we plant now will be the crops we harvest in the Fall. What encouraging flowers and elements do you want your life garden to grow? Choose wisely and take the actions required to make your garden a prize winner!

And, as always for Mercury retrograde: all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur during this period. If you can, hold off on buying (or leasing) any big ticket items. It’s also a good idea to triple check any and all plans you make. This is an excellent time for research and going on retreats, as those things that are usually hidden from view, show themselves more easily during a Mercury Retrograde period. Wait until Mercury goes direct before making any big decisions and enacting any major plans.

It’s December and in only a few short weeks, we’ll all witness and participate in the end of this year and the beginning of a new year– 2018.

It’s been an intense two months! The effects of the eclipses and earth changes we’ve witnessed since August have also been occurring within us. THE HERMIT (August 23 – September 22) Are you having trouble making up your mind? Making decisions isn’t always been easy, but now you have help from the Universe. Listen with all of your senses, keep both feet on the ground and step out on faith. Then, follow the Beatles advice and “let it be.” Be patient and the answers will easily come to you in the most unexpected ways.

JUSTICE (September 23 – October 22) Trying to please everyone, especially at the expense of pleasing yourself, is a waste of energy and opportunities. It’s time to break free of this negative pattern and learn to embrace your truth. From now until the end of the year, you’ll be presented with a vast array of options that resonate with your heart and soul.

THE MAGICIAN (October 23 – November 21) The planet of luck, blessings and expansion has just entered your sign. During this very lucky period, your magnetism is at an all-time high. It’s harvest time. What gifts and skills have you nurtured and “grown” during this intensely transformational year? Aided by two powerful eclipses and Mercury retrograde, last month’s energy gave us the clarity to consciously experience a transformational shift that’s enabling us to see the “big reveal” of our life’s efforts.

2017’s powerful combination of forces have offered us the opportunity to discover new ways to use our natural gifts of courage, stamina, determination, and adaptability. When I first wrote these words, I had no idea how true they were: 2017 will bring big changes, many fraught with turbulence and previously unthinkable occurrences and events. We must all remember that each of us is capable of doing potentially mysterious, empowering deeds and of displaying courage, integrity and heart so vital and vibrant to the continuation of all that we hold dear– and then, we must do them.

Throughout the rest of this year, allow yourself to discover and embrace the wisdom of a new archetype/teacher who resides within you. This archetype/teacher is ageless, limitless, and infinite and belongs to no gender, class, race, or religion. Its gift of priceless, earthy, compassionate, wise, truth comes from the experience of living. As you allow yourself to discover and embrace this new wisdom, you’ll discover and embrace a deeper, richer aspect of yourself that will teach you to appreciate the do-er—you– from a more infinite, personal, and empowering perspective.

It’s your gift, your right and your responsibility to let the magical significance of your journey delight, define and inspire you. Envision without fear, ask for what you want, listen carefully to God, take the actions necessary to make it happen, and experience the results with love, joy and gratitude.

By so doing, you can look forward with fascination to the adventures, opportunities, and changes– expected and unexpected– of our exciting and oh, so interesting times with a sense of calmness and inner support.
