Wow– the year is almost over! And what a year it’s been. The difficulties and the awfulness of these intense times have too often overshadowed the more positive aspects of this troubled period.

What we lavish our attention on is what grows. It is of utmost importance to continue to pay attention to and vanquish the negativity that’s going on in our world. It is equally important to be aware of, acknowledge, and promote what is positive and life affirming, too.

This month, let’s begin and end each day by thinking of three things we’re grateful for. On April 9^th, Mercury Retrograde will once again visit us. And when that happens, all manner of mistakes and misunderstandings can occur. If you can, hold off on buying (or leasing) any big ticket items. It’s also a good idea to triple check any and all plans you make. This is an excellent time for research and going on retreats, as those things that are usually hidden from view, show themselves more easily during a Mercury Retrograde period. Wait until Mercury goes direct before making any big decisions and enacting any major plans.

Courage and commitment are the coin of the realm. Remember who you are and what you stand for. I repeat last month’s advice (and until our results are achieved, in one form or another, I’ll keep repeating it): 2017 will bring big changes, many fraught with turbulence and previously unthinkable occurrences and events. We must all remember that each of us is capable of doing potentially mysterious, empowering deeds and of displaying courage, integrity and heart so vital and vibrant to the continuation of all that we hold dear– and then, we must do them.

2017 is a ‘1’ Universal year (2+0+1+7=1). Rather than giving in to our natural inclination to get as far as we can from change or the need to do so, we’ll get better results if we put that ‘flight or fight’ energy into adapting to the concept and energy of change.

It’s December– and it’s been quite a year hasn’t it? In only a few short weeks– we’ll all witness and participate in the end of this year and the beginning of a new year.
